WCS Fourth Grade Team

Hi I’m Braeden. I just recently went to Billings Farm. It was really fun so I will be telling you about some of the things I saw and did. I am the blogger. I liked Billings Farm because they gave you an 1890s name. My name was Roland . We played Tiddlywinks. Tiddlywinks are where you have to launch these little shapes into a target.  We got to make our own dinner, it was delicious. We made soup, butter and cornbread and Sally Lunn Bread.

We went to go see the movie Wonder and it was great.  I was thinking about how this was going to work out, like if we were going to get popcorn and drinks but we were just going to see the movie and leave.  It was still a great time!      In the movie August is a kid with facial differences and he goes to school and everyone makes fun of him.  In the end he makes a lot of friends. When we were writing our essays Michelle  gave us a lot of information on how to write essays. For example, she taught us how to form the paragraphs and chapters. I wrote about how football is the best sport. Here is a short excerpt from my essay:      FOOTBALL IS THE BEST SPORT Spencer LaComb                                  Football is the best sport because it's  fun to play, my favorite team is the Patriots and my favorite players are Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. What people need to know is that football is the best sport here are some reasons why: I like to play football because it’s fun to play. It gives you a lot of exercise. I like to play football because it gives me more time with school friends on the weekends.

I have been working on symmetry and it is very fun because you can use a mirror.  I think it is fun because it makes you think.  I think it is fun because it is hard.  I think it is fun because you have to work. Symmetry is splitting a shape equally in half.  By Uriyah
